I asked if they could use a 50 amp, but delivery guys said they only have GE 40 amp cables and would only hookup what they provide (even if I bought a new 50amp cord and gave it to them). So is this safe? The range does not say if its 40 or 50 amp, just that is can be hooked up to 40 or 50 amp service. I've called the hookup/delivery company, Home Depot, and Maytag and no one will answer the question I just put above, they either say read the manual or tell me to call someone else and ask. Thanks!
